    Ja$pal I'view

My buddy efnex, from Domain of Games, caught up with Ja$pal from American clan, zEx. The interview isn't terribly long, but it's still worth a read. They talk about the addition of LeKtrik, CAL-i, and zEx's CPL plans. Here's an interesting tidbit:
[ efnex ] So what has zEx been doing differently this season than any other?

[ zEx|JaSpal ] Nothing really, we're still practicing, experimenting with new strats etc. After playing with each other at the winter cpl we just got more focused in winning and going to the Summer CPL with that in mind.
Check out the interview if you have an extra minute.

We can rest assured all his CS skill is in the non-Canadian 2/3.

Good interview, I also wonder what the big announcement will be.

maybe lately youve noticed that the only new news that seems to get posted on the site is about LANs and different clan members from who none of us have ever heard of or cared about..and its really becomming pretty lame..its been so lame around here that the article about the WON servers being down got 187 comments!, while the CAL-i 8:2 Results got a measely 7...this should tell you what people care about and if you ask me its not the results to some cal-i tourney or where the next big LAN is at..if there was one near them they would know...im not bashing the site cause cs nation is...was my most favorite site on the net until recently and i think that others feel the same way..i might be wrong but just wanted to bring this to your attention..cause that what this site is here to do right? its here to excite people about cs(The Game) and to give them more information about cs(the Game), if you want to continue posting more news about LANs and cal-i results do it on "cs LAN" all im saying is that the last couple of weeks every thimne i comne to the site i am dissappointed at what i see..if there is onfo about a LAN or the CAL-i I hit that convienient little X at the top right hand corner of my browser...u?

BTY: just an opinion, about the lack of interesting news being posted..this article is not bashing cs nation..just bringing to light that there has been a lack of interest in the new news posts on non interesting topics lately

tonic, i don't see you "making" any news for us to post. when there's this so called real news you're talking about, we'll post that too. until then, people will have to put up with LANs and CAL-i news.

CS-N has always posted this type of news. If they only posted news that was directly about CS the site would only get updated once every few months. What is your solution anyway should they make stuff up? If there isn't any news they can't exactly post it.

You know you can filter out all of these types of news posts Tonic so it only shows specific news about the game.

Those of us involved with the competitive cs scene enjoy these news and updates. Further, csn is trying to foster the growth of cs into more than just something kids play in their homes during their freetime, but rather into a full blown "eSport" or at least something as an alternative to other forms of mainstream entertainment. Giving publicity to lan and competitive cs events is a way to acheive this goal.

lol tonic, news doesn't magically become available when people lose interest. Whatever news there is, cs nation posts it.
