Quarry update

A couple of updated screens, this time daytime. I'm considering making two versions of the map (one day and one night) and seeing how people react to each one.



Again, bear in mind these screens are still really early and the textures you see are temporary. I've got a few thing lined up for the map, some models are being made including conveyors and machinery. I'll post some more screens once they're added. The sky is also just a placeholder right now.

That looks real good, even if those are temporary textures. Also, don't forget to consider rain! I guess rain would only fit well in the nighttime map though...



oh, and will you unofficially release ns_romana anyways? i know you said it didnt play as good as you hoped, but hey, you never know, it could be a sleeper hit!



but anyways, looks great!



oh and the sky looks great with that map - it makes it have kind of a ghost town feeling or the kind of calm sky youd see in the midwest before a tornado struck.

the sky looks good as well......

you should consider adding some background far away structures that are inaccesible....to add a depth to the area.....so it just doesnt look like a box with a 'void' around it, like so many maps are.

its the torn sky if im correct, and i do think it would be better as a night map

The sky is marvellous! This looks less atmosphery but more playable.

If CS wouldn't be a sort of sport I'd like to have it nighty but this way...

Not liking the clipping and the gap between the hand and the gun on the picures. Its alright, only get it if you desperately need a oooomp skin.
