The Cyberathlete Professional League and iGames.org released their list of locations that are hosting qualifying tournaments for the CPL $100,000 Winter Counter-Strike Championship in Dallas. Over 50 venues will be holding tournaments throughout the month of October, with more being added over the next few weeks. For the list and more info, click here.

I havent like many of the other scout replacements ... but my mind has been changed! I LOVE IT!!! Its great, wonderful detail, not too big and not too small ... *Thumps up x 10*

Anyway, I was actually playing with this one for a few days with the thought of reviewing it, but it looks like our man beat me to the punch. It's definitely a different feel for the Scout, but not a bad one. The animations are definitely the weak point in this replacement, though, as they're just not lifelike, and the clipping never helps.
Aside from that and the flash suppressor looking a tad odd out there at the end of the barrel, honestly it's pretty dang cool. I'd love to see a reanimated version of this, myself...Comment

Ahh... I'm sorry I didn't edit my review earlier. I didn't notice it was available for download until I was too late.
So...
I think that what we have here is a very nice replacement for your scout.
The model is nice. Not really any trouble there. It goes well with the skins used, which are all great. The only problem with the skins I could tell were all on the scope. I don't like the skin on the scope. The lighting effects on it are done poorly, especially near the middle of the scope. One some of the skin on the scope is black, and whenever there's a curve on the scope model, the skin makes it look completely white.
The animations aren't very good either. In HLMV, they look pretty bad, but they fit in better while using this replacement in game. I would like to see it on default animations instead, because these ones are too fast, and look too robotic. Luckily other than animations and the scope skin, the only bad thing I could find about this replacement was the slight bit of clipping. The hand that holds the upper part of the gun is clipping through the replacement on the idle animation.
This replacement has a few flaws, but what replacement doesn't? Its still quality, and It isn't coming out of my models folder until something else that's better comes along, which probably wont be for a while.Comment
