Why do we get stuff like Friends and Ricki Lake year after year for what seems like a century, saying the same old crap over and over again. They always pass up the good stuff that I'd actually want to watch or they'll put it on at 3 in the morning.

I dunno.. The Daily Show is real slow in parts, and Jon Stewart makes an ass of himself almost nightly. The segment things they do, though, are usually hilarious.

Jon Stewart is much funnier off the daily show. You may want to blame this partially on his screen writers.

Dennis Miller Live was my favorite show, i cant remember how many times i stayed up just to watch the show and laugh my ass off. but now since HBO are a bunch of bastards we cant do that anymore, well.....there is always the re-runs (maybe) on HBO comedy. =\

Dennis Miller was funny for about 5 minutes. Then he decided that the only things that he would make jokes about were the ultra-obscure, if-you-dont-have-an-intellect-you-wont-get-this jokes. Even then, having an intellect did not help.
