Yes, thank you for all submitting STEAM IS DOWN. That's usually obvious when you can't connect. Looks like they are either doing a little work on the main servers, or it just puked. Just amuse yourself for one night by playing 1.5 instead of the beta.



Update: Looks like all of VALVe (VALVe Software, Steam) has lost their internet connection.

I live in Alberta, Canada. Lots of power outs, and always when I go on vacation, so my server(s) shut down!

Well, could be power outage, perhaps some fibre got cut on accident, or of course, the ever-classic "we moved all our severs onto different IP's, but didn't hold both until the DNS servers had time to update..."
