It's only boring after you've played it beginning to end into double figures. And even then there are lots of exceptional single player mods out there to try... hint hint...

Online though... whoa, haven't played for ages. Have had some of the best games in my life playing HL's boot_camp on bright sunny mornings back home and they've felt great. It was all about fun, not competitiveness. Excellent times.

I've started playing hldm again, and I really am good at it. I can remember a few years ago when I used to play snarkpit and would DREDD going into the pit because some guy killed me instantly - and now I am that guy in the pit doing stupid long jump leaps over your shoulders then gaussing you in the back of the face.



I used to play at 320x240 on a cyrix 200mhz with 32mb ram. I payed per minute to play it.
