Like i said, we weren't really going for an Oscar story. it was mainly for effects and for fun. If you look close the effects are complicated with fake shells bouncing off real walls with shadows and stuff. It was not supposed to be a serious action movie.

I put the file in my Kazaa folder so if anyone wants to try it that way instead of waiting in line at Fileplanet, they can. The exact file name is CS64.zip

DAP problems are because its trying to download the html file, dont use dap.. or any other respectable internet browser besides internet explorer because.. they just dont work. fileplanet is lame like that.

If you're using DAP (Download Accelerator Plus) then here's how you do it:

Downloads -> Options/Configurations -> Advanced -> Show "Regular"/"Accelerate" option before starting the download

Make sure that's checked. Now, whenever you click to download a file, it'll pop up two buttons with either option. Click on regular when you first try to download with fileplanet. Then you'll get the little box that puts you in a line. When you finish waiting through the line, and you get a real link, then click on that again, and use the "accelerate" option.

You can only download 1 stream at a time from fileplanet, so it's not really any faster, but this way you can pause/resume your download, assuming you don't pause it and wait a couple of days before resuming. You can even do the "download later" option, which will last for about a day or so before your link expires.

The movie sucked ass (2/10). But in terms of special effects, it was pretty freakin cool. (9/10)

Liquid Tension Experiment (the name of the band that played it) is just simply amazing....

Hi, Im Dan Bolmgren the editor of 'CS64' and Admin to 2404.ORG but Yeah my friend Matt (Matt Luchau the "Green Player") picked out the song that we used in CS64, we were originally going to use that song on one of our other movies "Action Team Episode 2" *Go DL it at www.2404.org* and we figured we'd use it on CS64 especially since its kinda suppose to sound like a "Video Game" or at least have that sort of motif to it. And by the way the movie wasent a "serious" "Academy Award campaigned" Film, it was just a film we wanted to make so my buddy DEADPOOL can practice and expand on his Special Effects CG skills. So I hope all of you enjoyed it for what its worth, it was "fun" making, but very stressfull at times (over two months in post-production for Effects and Sound editing). -PuN

Teenangst rock? Purely instrumental, highly talented metal is angsty? I thought liquid tension experiment was a good choice for the music, beats all the demos and stuff with Linkin Park, etc.

maybe it's just me, but it felt like a total waste of time downloading and watching this shit. plainly childish and disgusting, in my arrogant opinion.

oh definitely good that the music was just instrumental:P

Im old and not up with current rock n stuff, i grew out of it when iwas 16, after metallica black album, got my self into house n fit chicks, rock scene in uk is very very limited, or was, fat birds with white face paint uch......

As an aside am I already desentsitized to violence? I didnt see much wrong with it, but non counterstrike buddies and my mum have seen the movie now. They were shocked n horrified.. I think they went to far but interesting to hear other points of views, they even think playing such a game as much as i do is weird..... Maybe theyre right?

I think the bad thing is I have begun to believe its normal...
