It was refreshing to see them not dressing up as dorks in costumes like the other live counter-strike movies. But the ending needed to be better with a twist or something.Comment

What kinda twist are you looking for here? As they said on their page they were testing the limits of their special effects. I was pretty impressed! They did a very good job. If any of them are reading, what tools did you use in post?Comment

Nice efforts, overall bland though.
Which is a shame I guess the teenangst rock dont help, nor the actors scruffy appearance. Minor detail I know, but perhaps if they had worn some sort of combats it owuld have worked better. Even though it looks silly in other movies yes granted.. It always helps if the person in the uniform, fits the uniform u know?
In addition, I cant believe they missed the opportunity to show a fourway, or threeway screenshot, with the fourth blacked out. maybe showing all three of them in fps, maybe, two glimpsing one and firing n missing.... ah well Just to reinforce the n64ness. ohwell nvm. Very good effort though. Deagle effect wins imho. Its worth the dl, just to get to that one effect. The rest seemed easily doable.
It is worrying to me, that such young kids can access even blank firers, but then we have sensible gun laws here...Plasma SharK wrote..

Hey, im the one who did the special effects for the movie. Sry about the download, we didnt think the site would get that much traffic so fast....use the other mirror for now and we will try to get it on the main page. The other thing, We did not use blank guns or anything like that. They are airsoft guns that are 20$. :) You probably didnt relize it but the shells coming out of the gun, along with the smokie and stuff is cg. We didnt dress in costume because the players are imagining themslelves in the game playing against eachother, so they are wearing their normal clothes. The special effects took over 2 months to do (like we said it was to test our capabilities) and i used - 3dsmax , Discreet Combustion , and adobe photoshop for the effects.Comment

i saw this other cs movie where some dude runs around with a briefcase imagining it's a gun :S (what's that all about?) but this one puts the mov in cs-movies or something I dunno.........so anyway I liked it, nice work with the smoke ...though the sound could be done better. ggComment
