What's the point of releasing a new client if there's no new server release to enforce usage?

god knows why tikkanen, maybe its just that they feel they have to release something due to some sick personnal fetish over there, like when they released an update for hlguard and then in the same day (hours later?) they released yet another update for the update. weird.Comment

No that was because they didn't turn off the debugging in one of the scripts and it was spamming the servers!!!

That kind of update is welcomed, but a client update without a server side one is not, considering they were supposed to have added more cheat detection, now that was posted by CS-Nation, there is nothing about more cheats detected on the C-D update at UnitedAdmins.... so who is right???

well...... ive only found one Cheating-Death Required Server in the UK, using All-Seeing-Eye. and that had a ping timeout.
no one is using it! before VAC came out CD was all over servers like aids in china.... i think jolt supported it... and it actually stopped the cheaters.... even the littlest of things a player can do to make his client version that much better than his opponent - ie. bright, coloured models produced an error code and unbinded all of your keys while u got knifed to death by some dozy VIP called "player"
if servers actually used it...... and then made it required after a couple of weeks to get the community used to it.... then it would be amazing again....

I think more servers are going to C-D cause the VAC just ain't cutting down on the number of cheaters!! It's slow to download, you never know what they are doing, and I guess it's a lazy admins toy.
Just my opinion not a flame or meant to be a put down of any program that is trying to keep the cheaters in checkComment
