    New Cheating Death Release

Well this is my spring break and I'm heading home so I'll make this quick. United Admins has released a new version of their popular client side anti-cheat called Cheating-Death. This release blocks even more cheats and implements an auto-update feature. To check it out click here.

Well now that I've dispensed with the pleasantries I'm heading off. See you all later![break="Changelog email"]
The UA Anti-Cheat Team has released another update (client only) with these changes:
    • [new] added auto-update.

    • [fixed] fixed code[32] for ati radeon users.

    • [fixed] fixed problems for au8830 chipset soundcards.

    • [fixed] fixed code[16] for actionhl.

    • [fixed] fixed third person spectator mode.
On top of those, there have been more cheat blocks added, including the few recent ones that bypassed prior C-D releases. Now that an auto-update feature has been implemented, it will allow for quicker releases, which ultimately reduces the lifetime of cheats that bypass C-D.

Auto-update... an essential part to making an anti-cheat not be completely annoying.

well maybe cheating death could work better than vac, there were 3 blatant hackers on a server the other day... I hope vac keeps up their work updating so all cheaters will be banned

Sorry to say, but hackers work a lot more then valve and UA. They update their sites much more frequent too, and they aren't payed to do it either.

I don't think that any cheat is capable of working with CD. They just find ways of bypassing the auth method or something of the sort. My information is based off the original CD from like a year ago so who knows...

Well why put out a client update and no way to enforce the update??

Kinda say's to the cheaters, use old version of C-D and keep on cheating becuase you don't HAVE TO update!!

Server side should have been released at same time to fore them to update.

Back to VAC for this server admin.............
