LOL I'v gone on my own video game binges, but I at least stop for a minimal amount of food & sleep. The worst for me was when I got a new comp. all tricked out 4 gaming that came w/ unreal tournament, deus ex, & mdk2. That was bad. Deus Ex = most addictive single player fps ever. However, that was before I found the evil that is CS, though HL already had a firm grip on me... I need to shoot my computer and get a life (I had one when my comp was obsolete.)Comment

Ultimately its Parental control fallen to bits. however i the situation people in Romania find themselves in, prhaps losing a kid for 9 days aint that impossible? I dont know, I know that I recentyl have peaked playing 5 hours a day. Ive reigned it right back in and ry to limit it to 3, but its damn hard, when i have alate night session, cos, If u are doing well, u need to see how long u can maintain it, if your doing bad, like gambler uneed to break the streak, and if ur doing average, then well, I can get pissed enough to turnoff. Really is difficult though, real addiction.Comment

There are plenty of links between the two, and this has been proven. What hasn't ever been proven is called a "causal link" meaning that the games themselves cause violent behavior. A link simply means that there's some sort of relationship. That could be direct, inverse, or whatever. However, simply linking the two doesn't really give you anything useful. It could easily be that violent people like violent games. Or, there's many other variables in demographics and such that influence these studies.
