As you can see, I've updated the sidebar with some game image headers and some new maps for 007 Nightfire. I've not yet filled in the info for each map, I'll do it when I get some free time.



In other quarry related news, I'm going to update tomorrow or the day after with some new screens showing the map models.

- Counter-Strike Art for Amateurs has moved to HL.net. They've also added 20 new art images.



- Counter-Place has slapped up a few new WinAMP skins and some new art.



- ZDNet's GameSpot has posted a little story about CS, nothing really big.

First off, MysticMart has updated his site, CS Art for Amateurs, again with session 21 and 22 of the art section. He still needs some Flash Art, so I hope somebody will send him some!!

Our very own Logoville has been updated over the days. Now the site features a dynamic CGI which display and cata-- Ahh, forget all that, they have a Timmy logo!!!



In totally unrelated news, Planet Counter-Strike has opened its doors. Besides having the most orginal name this side of the nation, it features "very up to date news, contests, downloads, chat, forums, hosting, interviews, a lot of screen shots, tournaments and a whole lot of good stuff". Hooray.

Counter-Strike 2D has been updated with a Collective Works GIF package, no more Right-click and Save As for me! Also, Half-Pint is still looking for submitted maps. Check out Counter-Strike 2D for more details.



On the other site of the world, CS Bots @ Planet Half-Life has slapped up interview with DaTa of the Android Bot. If you recall, some jackass posted that DaTa was killed in a car crash in the CS forums:

How do you feel about the post in that forum that said you were dead?

It's very sad.. but I guess there will always be people that think it is fun to do these kinds of things.

• the cs crossfire, who i hear has a very cute webmaster, has been updated with two new designs from the community, a new "online users" feature, and a new poll topic. the poll? how do game tweaks affect the cpl and online leagues
