Funny cos, I dont enjoy halo that much on the Xbox, I really cant wait for Halo to come out on pc, so I na play wth a developed online community. Not enough decent titles with Xbox live capability, I hope they patchj osme of the older games to bring em in line.



Xbox n consoles, are for bet em ups, platforms and sports sims imho.

Loved gotham, liked hitman, splinter cell, Fifa 2003 theyre are console games, Illprobably buy cs for xbox cos I support the publishers, and I may be able to spread thegospel to more of my mates who at the moment quite frankly are scared of what cs is..

I can't wait to see CS on my XBox, it will eliminate retarded noobs who don't use voice communication. They can do more with the graphics, the only bad thing I can see is the variables like skins, unless they have put a way to download them onto the console. If they make it linkable too it will be sweet.

Eh, the current CS graphics suck the nuts compared to most games, my oldest computer is sporting a geforce 2. Custom skins arn't stupid, unless they are a pistol with a grenade launcher on them. And mics really help when getting your team to do something.

ROFL...XBox doesnt even deserve CS..Most ppl have computers and are able to play cs cos of its low specs, but ppl arent going to buy an xbox to play cs...especially when there is such pathetic net access for it in other countries..I think theres like 300 ppl on the xbox online tunnell..compare that to the 60k ppl constant on cs.

Spooky he's referring to the number of people playing xbox live at any given time.. not the number of people signed up.



And just so you know there are 109,000 people playing CS right now.. That would be 1/5th of all xbox live users being on at the same time. I doubt there will ever be a game on xbox live that will reach 100,000 concurrent users.. in fact I doubt there will be another game for any platform for the next 5 years that comes close to that number.



Although I don't have the numbers on Everquest.. which I was under the impression were pretty high.. so I could be wrong.



I also don't have sales figures for Halo or CS but I'd have to imagine that there are more HL/CS cds laying around than Halo.



If anyone has this info.. please feel free to post it.. I'd like to know the actual figures.

About counter-strike: "it isnt halo..."

NO SHIT it isnt halo, it is about 50 times more popular than halo will ever be and it is still a very old MOD while HALO has "the best graphics, richest environments etc etc etc." Halo is just a young puppy compared to grandfather counter-strike. Yes, that is right, it isnt even a GAME it is a MOD of half-life and is still the most popular action game ever. I think it is stupid to have counter strike on X-Box live, the way it is already is fine and those console gamers need to figure out the best system is a PC. I dont think that it should be released ever, I dont know what servers they are planning to use to play on but I dont want a whole bunch of noobs clogging up my favorite servers bandwith and player slots. (I dont know anything about X-Boxes or X-Box live so dont yell at me if I am completly wrong about the server thing. It is a different system so i guess they definitely would not be able to play on WON servers)

OH OH 500,000 SUBSCRIBERS OMFG........too bad there are millions of people that play Counter-Strike every day on PC's. I agree, Xbox has far too many noobtypes to deserve counter-strike. I bet the only people who have X-Boxes are lame basketball playing preps. They arent smart enough to figure out how to change the kind of adapter you have for your video card through your BIOS. Alas....I wish I could hack X-Boxes and delete every game that is put in to the stupid little slot. AOL users keep me occupied....hehehehehehe(bastards)
