MikeJ, what do you mean?? If you add "-noforcemparms -noforcemaccel" to the CS commandline in WinXP, the mousemovement is just the same as in Win98..

Yea, but was CPL online play? No, so they are still very capable of winning CPL because it's LAN.
i cant belive GOL quit!!!!!! they came so close to taking the cplDangki wrote..
Is that why all the other clans that didn't win didn't split up? What you're saying is, all 63 (it was 64 teams at CPL, right?) teams except for the winners, SK.sca, would have split up. No one posts news saying "Guess what, clan mTw is.. not dead! Wow.", but they do post when a clan dies, so it may seem like clans that lose simply quit.
In the world of esports if you lose you split up. Its one of the golden rules.Comment

Well a couple of American clans split up, or had major roster changes after CPL tho :P
But I don't think GoL simply quit playing online, I think they quit altogether. They have lost most of their team before, and took a while to get back, but they did get back on track and finished 3rd and then 2nd @ CPL. This time, it might take longer. There aren't too many unsettled or clanless elite players in Sweden atm :P
And A-Laget isnt unknown in Sweden, but outside. Its probably an older clan then all the other clans at the qualifier :P But it sure as hell was a surprise that they wonComment

I didn't either. It's because we're dumb. I did have to turn off mouse acceleration but that was it. It's probably because I'm a gay awp whore and all you do when you awp is move your mouse over them and fire(I usually don't stop, I just drag my mouse over and past and fire as it passes by). If I had to actually stop and deliver a second shot like from any other gun that is balanced I'd be screwed.Comment

A couple of items regarding Counter-Strike league play:- the ultimate gaming clan's second season is wrapping up (playoffs begin on monday), and applications are now being accepted from clans who wish to participate in the third season (slated to begin may 5th). to register your clan, or for more information, click here. with a lot of veteran clans returning, ugc's third season should be as exciting as the first two. you can follow the second season ugc playoff action by checking out the brackets here.
- the united gaming league's season (their second) is also coming to a close. within the next couple of weeks, registration for season two will commence. ugl reports that they are in negotiation with gaming fort to provide clans with servers for their matches.
