Unless I'm mistaken, all it really says is that PC Gameplay saw a long demo of the game in Seattle (all detailed in their 11 page special) which exceeded their wildest dreams...
Can anyone tell me what this says?
It's from the website that the above picture was found.Comment

Looking at that PC Gameplay cover, maybe he's just in some sort of very steamy situation...
If you look at the background, Gordon's suit, and his fogged up glasses, you can tell that he seems to have been (or still IS) in some sort of snowy environment.
It's starting to look like HL2: Freeman's Bachelor Party is becoming more and more possible! All of the sudden, I'm beginning to think the graphics engine is very important, especially the high poly counts and dynamic physics modeling and textures and, er, um... yeah.

You rock Nighthawk! It made this paper I'm writing seem all-the-much easier.

All this HL2 stuff is really getting my interest up. I just started a new game of HL again today for posterity sake! =)Comment

-Condition Zero was never in valves hands.. it was Gearbox
PHL just said Half-Life 2 will be released this year.
Take that with a grain of VALVe salt. (1 2 3 4 5...)
-Steam and also 1.6 were released, only betas but 1.6 was delayed because of steam which was delayed not because it didnt work, but because they didnt have the bandwidth.
-Last of all, Valve has actually never (to my knowledge) released information about a game (that they made on their own) until it was almost ready, so dont make Valves record look tainted because you are ignorant.
Anyway, I just reserved my copy of HL2 at GameStop. The tentative release info they have is July this year... I recommend you reserve a copy if you canComment

PC Gameplay went on a visit to Valve in Seattle and Got an extensive demonstration of Half-Life 2. In our 11 page special you can read yourselves everything about the successor of the game of the century and we can already tell: its better than our best dreams could have been able to suspect.. And the best of all: it is set for the end of the year!
i think thats a nearly accurate translationComment

Woah, Woah! Why so wordy? Your like Donald Rumsfeld, and I'm quoting, "We'll we deliver the things, so they can be checked, then re-delivered so they can be double checked."
also, heres direct proof from valve that makes me very happy and will please everyoneComment

Didn't VALVe release TF2 information several years back, and then scrap the project to redo it all? Or was it some super spy who stole those promo screenshots? :)
