...just keep on coming. Now normally I would like to take a couple of these news items and break them down into separate posts, but because of the sheer numbers of items that have been submitted recently, you get... ::pauses for suspense:: that's right, news bits! ::holds for canned applause::

• first off, clikarena wrapped up this past weekend, with [9].esu taking it all. kudos, team 9. they will be taking home some 30,000 € as prize money. what that is in u.s. dollars, i just don't know.
  
  
  
  
• there's a new cs site out there, you can check it out here. i glanced at it, seems to have a fair amount of maps and some other good stuff.

• if you're a fan of cs 1.3, and i know some of you are, then the cs 1.3 option package might be for you. basically it's a second installation of cs, but it will leave your 1.5 installation alone, installing to a "cstike1.3" directory. interesting idea.
  
  
  
  
• there's another in the long line of anti-cheat software to be distributed as of late. i guess it scans your computer for, and i'm quoting the person who submitted this news, "cheat files or cheat associated files." give it a try right here.

When I logged in this afternoon, to check out the submitted items, there were 21. These five are the only ones not related to HL2. Go figure. I'll leave 'em for someone else to post.

Well the aiming was a lot different in 1.3 (i.e jumping deagle head shots...oh yeah1!)

Anyways, has anyone tested this to see if it changes the aiming as well as jumping back to 1.3?

teh cheat scnaner scans all drives, not just your cs dir.....
