We've updated the public security modules again. Your Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat servers should update themselves automatically. Let me know if you have any problems with these security modules and we'll look into them right away.

Hey the server I usually use has just updated its VAC and now all the players are sytematically kicked. Did anyone experience this horrible cataclysm too? Just to say, there must be around 50 different regular players on this server and none are known as cheaters so what's the big deal ???

I'm curious how much of the VAC code will be able to easily migrate over to the HL2 code base when it's released...

I think it's a safe bet HL2 was built from the ground up with completely integrated anti cheat.

yes Dredd67 the server i play on to was updated and now people are kicked after being on for 30-45 seconds!!

Yeah I've seen that on a few servers after VAC updates I still don't know why it happens, but a quick restart of the server usually fixes it. Of course it would be nice if this didn't happen.
