that doesn't looklike a render to me. If it was a render there would be way more polygons on the faces of those models. That looks in game to me

I have to admit, that nVidia-only claim has got to be the most incredibly gay attempt by any site to generate more hits and/or controversy that I have seen in quite a while.



Ignoring that stupid site, and focusing on this article, however, while a few assumptions seem to be made, and the authors seem slightly less than familiar with the subject, it's pretty decent for something on cnn.

just to clear things up i think any media you will ever see on HL2 will either be concept art, or in game. Valve doesn't do cut scenes so you wont see any pre rendered art.

Yes but I highly doubt that is a final levle since none of the surfaces have textures that I can see.

the magazine covers and the crowbar werent in game, im sure they have renders and ads that theyve made for reasons such as this. while not being a cut scene it could still be taken out and edited from in game
