I felt bad for not posting news in a while so I thought I'd delve right in and square away some news bits. Here's what we have on the menu for today:
- you can get a nice big helping of csports.net's new counter-strike cpl official world rankings right here--that is, a list of the top 50 clans in the world. not unexpectedly, gol tops off the list at #1, and the top three is rounded out by the eupropean powerhouses sk.swe and eol.
- for those of you with a hankering for some bot goodness (yum yum), and can't hack it in pubs, you can download a waypoint pack for podbot here. whoever submitted this post must have written it in another language and then run it through some cheap translator, because the nouns and verbs were all topsy turvy. s'allright though, i enjoy spending ten minutes decrypting and writing one news bit.
- the first build release of n0kimod (gawd l33tsp34k is so 1999), an in-game won id lookup tool, has been released to the public. you can download it from their site. as rizzuh correctly points out, "this is great for you cal teams that have to verify won id's for matches and scrims." so uh yeah, check it out.
- shut teh face, from the cal-m atlantic team s2k, has compiled a frag movie. if you're still hungry after the rankings, waypoints, and lookup tool, you can slop some fragging goodness onto your plate, and check out the movie here. it weighs in at a hefty 119 megs. eat the whole thing and you dine for free.
