That lower-left pic of the guy with the headcrab on his...uh...head looks awesome, especially those pipes...the guys really fat though, i dunno what's up with that.

The graphics in the game remind me of the style of graphics in Silent Hill 2, and silent hill 2 kicked ass, so, im happy. :)

I'm kinda suspicious about the graphics... They look too real... If they were that good, my video card would be screwed (america's army screws it up good)... Anyways, about the screenshots...



They look like a photographed background, with anime players (maybe some japanese power ranger type anime)... holding OICW's... and they're attacking Starship Troopers aliens in the jail...



I know you ppl might think I'm crazy.. but this HL2 looks too surreal...

I'm starting to be afraid that maybe HL's going to be the next Quake series, that is, all about graphics and technology, not actually about gameplay and atmosphere..... sigh, but I'm going to trust Valve and see how it turns out.

From the sounds of it, they've put tons of work into the physics engine, AI, etc. so it will be much more than just nice graphics.

Wow... those fake screenshots where really nice... but it looks like someone have painted the pictures then scanned them in. Who knows - this may be how HL2 looks like. But I don´t believe it.
