lmao at your Onos :) I personnally think that NS is the curent best mod of HL, mostly because there's much less whiners (at least on this side of the Atlantic) and cheaters are much less advantaged. (It's not skill but teamwork that counts)

CS is still great but the community makes me want to cry. I've been TK'ed for fragging someone a whole lot of times, I've been called a noob for planting the bomb, a cheater for knifing someone, etc. And that really discouraged me from playing.

But I still stay around here because I think people on CS-Nation aren't quite as idiotic. Maybe because they can't TK me on a site, but most probably because they understand how to play.

Well that pretty much sums it up. I havent played much CS at all since 1.4. Maybe I like(d) CS for different reasons than the people who still play it today, but the jumping thing ruined it for me because It cramped my style too much. Yeah, I could adapt, but wtf would i want to when it's not fun anymore? With a combination of the cheating problem and the limitations being placed on how you could move (and i DONT mean bunny hopping), I started asking myself why I was bothering, there are better things I could be doing.



It shows what a broken engine CS is based on, when it takes something that drastic to fix a bug



My ISP hosts 10 18 player CS servers, these used to be PACKED all day and most of the night, nowadays you're lucky to see one full.. thanks to the cheaters and the jump pause.
