I'd guess CSN would know when 1.6 or whatever it will be is gonna be released, before the general public. I just hope they hurry up with it, there have been next to zero updates on steam, valve are as secretive as usual, and people are just getting annoyed.

i really dont care when they all get released as long as i get SOMETHING to play besides cs, tfc, and bf1942. lately I've been attempting to play the "other" mods that came with my cs retail but they dont work... damn opfor and firearms...

Ritualistic announced that it (cscz) will be released in july and as far as I know they haven't released a new date by they way I haven't read cgw.

they did change the date, to THIS MONTH OF MAY

Hey just checked the forums there and one of the developers told someone not to believe the rumours it wouldn't be out in May which seems a good sign. Dunno if that means it will be out on May though, but it looks good. The FAQ was last updated in January.



And if that other guy on the forum is correct then we will get a CS1.6 update right before CZ is released.

When the news first started coming out about CS 1.6 I heard that 1.6 would be released at the same time CS:CZ was so that people that didn't buy CS:CZ would be able to play with CS:CZ players and use the CS:CZ weapons. Maybe that changed, but that's what I meant in my original post.

That's what I'm saying. If /cstrike/ in all three versions of CS is basically the same in terms of .dll's and stuff, then CS:CZ owners could play with CS players even without the new weapons. By the way, CZ weapons will be added over time and not in one shot to those of you who don't know.



CS:CZ could ship with CS 1.5, so the releases are a lot less interdependent than one might think.

Ok the reason I asked for a link is because the Ritual news page doesn't have an animated gif with a fist shaking back and forth that towers opposite sides of a 72 point font letterhead reading "IT'S ON FOR MAY, BOYS!"
