If all you want to do is connect to a fucking IP then why would i need a program that can remotely control the server, track wonids, spam IRC, look up a players home address/phone number, and cook my dinner.

HLSW = best tool for CS

CC = MUCH better for connecting to full servers. I've had the msg "Server is full" so many times after HLSW claimed that a slot was open its not even funny.

The fact that I don't have any specific server to go on removes my personal need to use this.



Yet, I have used this program when I had a few regular servers that were often full.



One tip: if you are finally bored of seeing the numbers of retries passing by without anything happening, rebind mouse2 to +attack2 (or whatever its bound to) before quitting to prevent accidental reconnection.

Well tbh it is pretty shitty. :o But there is one thing it's good at, connecting to full servers. :) If only they'd add this functionality to HLSW.

I play on enough different 1.5 servers that I really don't need CC, and CS1.6b has auto-retry built into it. Unfortunately it sometimes starts to connect and somebody's already grabbed the spot, leading to a hung "This server is full" message with no retries, but overall it's a nice feature to have built-in to CS.



For all of you who have a few favorite servers that are packed, though, this would be a great tool. Would have been nice to know about back when I was playing NS more regularly on a select few servers... :)

I hate how it doesn't let you join to servers with an IP mask (cstrike.halflife.net.nz) as it only allows numbers.
