    CAL-i Week 4:1

    I apologize for my lack of esports coverage but I've had a very busy rehearsal schedule lately. Results are below.[break="results"]zEx -over- Legends :: 21-3

    Looks like zEx is proving that they still have what it takes to be on top of things, despite two losses already this season to MurK and Green Berets. The question is whether they will drop any more.

    WEW -over- TSO :: 21-3

    TSO is still at the bottom of the CAL-i heap while WEW with a pretty new roster is still kicking names and taking you-know-what. Will TSO ever bounce back?

    ExS -over- The Unreal :: 16-8

    This score surprises me a bit, as I was under the impression that TU was on an upward swing in CAL-i, but you don't move up by losing to lower teams. ExS has always been a bit of a CAL-i force but their lack of practice due to college finals right now makes one wonder how much practice The Unreal got...

    aoX -over- BiO :: 16-12

    The rematch of rivals. Seasons ago, both of these teams were in the CAL-main finals and BiO took a forfeit win over aoX for a technicality. Looks like aoX is still the better team all these seasons later.

    gsx -over- [h] :: 16-8

    Somebody please explain to me how gsx won a match with only 3 members on the roster. While I'm sure it's polite that [h] let them play without members on their roster, it's also pretty damn illegal and obvious. Punishment? We'll see.

    E7 -tied- d0f :: 15-15

    For a team people keep hailing as "moving on up", tying a new entry into CAL-i doesn't help their cause. A bad night for E7 or a good night for d0f? Only the rest of this season will show.

    shock -over- Cc :: 13-11

    Ah, and Cc falls to shock. shock started out their season with a few upset wins and in my mind this is another, as I called Cc and xeno to be making some ruckus this season.

    Hicks -tied- Pinnacle :: 15-15

    Pinnacle, as is the case with E7, isn't improving any by tying a lower-class team. We'll see how things continue to shape up.

    TAU -over- 3D :: 13-11

    Indeed, it appears TAU is once again the powerhouse they were in the past as they came away with a 13-11 win over CPL champions 3D tonight. Will this streak continue for TAU or was it merely a fluke?

    TEC -over- TSG :: 19-5

    Sure, TSG has been a lot stronger the past season or so, but facing off against TEC I didn't have very high hopes. TEC proved me right and took this game 19-5 with little opposition.

    xeno -over- eST :: 14-10

    xeno continues to win games and eST drops another. I've called it before and I'll stick with it - xeno will continue to impress this season.

    Gamers-X -over- nerve :: 20-4

    No mistake here, as pretty much everybody has been dominating nerve lately. GX is no one-hit wonder though, as they have several of WEW's strong starters that took them to a UGS-i championship and 2 CAL-i 2nd places among other accolades. I'm betting this will be GX's true season to shine.

    Ownij -over- SYB :: 14-10

    The newly renamed eCyberDeck picked up a nice win tonight over last season's CAL-m champions, as SYB continues to drop some games. I think they'll rebound but not until they're already out of playoff contention.

    frag -over- Ascension :: 18-6

    frag is proving after several CAL-i seasons that they can indeed take some games, as they soundly defeated Ascension tonight. Whether this was a fluke or if frag will continue to win this season is up in the air at this point.

    v2m -over- Rival :: 18-12 OT

    Looks like a tough game was had by rival, losing in overtime by newcomers v2m. A shame as Rival is really looking like their former CAL-i champion team. Whether they'll make playoffs is unsure, as they're currently sporting about a 4-3 record. They can drop another few games, but any more losses will make it difficult to get in the off season at this rate.

                        Didn't you guys do Peter Pan a while back?

                        I think puffycloud must be in theatre too, because he often dresses up in a pink ballerina costume. On second thought, maybe that's not why.

                            I'm also loving it. My only real complaint would be that the inside of the foregrip was left transparent, so while reloading you see through the holes in the gun in sort of an odd fashion. Luckily it's not a particularly annoying attribute.

                            Aside from that, though, good stuff here aside from the obvious "feeling like you're holding a real gun when you're actually holding a FAMAS" aspect, heh.

                              these type of spinoffs of this m4,

                              such as this, this,

                              this,

                              and this, are really getting old. i mean, how uncreative can you be? i would like to see something fresh. but anyways, the forgrip feels really wierd, and why the hell do you need a grenade launcher on a gun that can only shoot automatic and burst? then the sight... as you can see i am not a fan of useless attachments. so for the final grade, i factored in how it is annoyingly uncreative the author is, the forgrip wierdness, and the stupid attachments. 5.8. but i always round up. but of course its going to get dropped, so my opinion doesnt really matter.
