The letters really become meaningless, just like the version numbers, they just indicate the status of development.



Beats me if they'd say something dumb like "C = Gamma" and "D = Delta" and so forth. Along those lines, why do we use the greek lettering anyway? Why not military designations? Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo... etc. Nevermind.

An opinion would be why console connector is bad at what it does, not why HLSW is better than console connectors. It's like saying wine glasses are better than martini glasses. They are two completely different things used for two completely different purposes.

sure, HLSW does tons more things, and is much better to keep track of your servers/ rcon without connecting on your server, and can connect as soon as a place is free.



The thing is, it takes about 10 seconds before you actually connect. That's the difference. While Console Connector would make you automatically connected on a popular server, it isn't quite so effective if you're only on near-empty servers.

While personally I use HLSW, I never go on those servers where everyone wants to go, mostly because I am a bad player and get my ass kicked by the good players on them. But I have used CC because HLSW failed to connect me in time, and I could ramble on forever and nobody (who doesn't understand) would get the point.
