man, little disappointed with the models...it seems like they are all taken from other stuff let me explain....

In picutres numbered 21, 16, 7 they look like the aliens from StarShip Troops (the bugs)



In picture numbered 2 it looks like the "ghosts" in Final Fantasy the movie



In picture numbered 1, 3 looks exactly like an actor in some movie (not Morgan Freemen)



In picture numbered 5 looks like the actor on Law and Order, the tall skinny guy with sunglasses



And finally in picture numbered 6 it looks like the machines from War of the Worlds (PC Game that flopped)

yep, just that if you played the game, that pic looks almost exaclty like the ones from the game just that it's from a ground view not ariel view. figure more peopel are game literate than book literate

The graphics look awesome.. i guess that must be why VaLVe is taking so long.. I think the G-Man in Half-Life looks more sinister with that square head. Oh well..

the question is...if i bust out every weapon known to man on G-Man again...will the sob die this time? i put a lot of effort into trying to kill him the first time through...i want his head on a stick this time, square or not.

The way he is coded in the game makes him invulnerable to any damage. He doesn't even clip.

Think about it, everyone has been drooling over the HL2 screens and information, but was it a good idea to release the information this early?



Well in my opinion, no. ONLY because with this hype and gorgeous screenshots will anyone buy CS:CZ after seeing the screens? CS:CZ was a fresh new-look to HL and CS when the first screens hit the scene and now that we have HL2 screens the enthusiasm for CZ has gone downhill. Will this directly effect sales of CZ when its released? Maybe. I'm still most likely going to buy it, but ppl that have small budjects or dont wan't to take a chance may not, and just wait till Sep 30th to get HL2. This is just my opinion, and hopefully people will respond to it as that.

I love Single Player Games.



HOWEVER



The thing that made Half-Life's single player amazing, was it didnt GIVE YOU ANY INFORMATION. You had to figure out puzzles and the such all by yourself. Nowadays all single player games just tell you what to do and give you 44 maps and hints to tell you how to do it. Personally I think that takes a lot of fun out of the game. So I do hope they keep the game similar to Half-Life's play, but unfortunatly most companies are more interested in having children easily work their way thru the game and passing it on to friends, and etc.



Doom 3 and HL2 are both beautiful pieces of work, and I dont think its right to knock either of them, unless you can produce something of similar or better quality.

One of your creative friends decides to release your pornography to the general public without your consent, thus your hard work is being spread and your not getting any of the cash.

Wouldn't you think thats somewhat illegal?



P.S. It is illegal for you to be under 18 and make a porn, considering the kids that are finding this hilarious are probably as nerdy as I am, and have no girlfriend, and would make a porn, however it would contain midgets and\or horses.
