Homofied, I'm going to start using that one. I don't know about CSX, I was all happy until i saw some of the screenshots. I don't know, I'll have to see what it is like when I play it.

1. i thought scout was going to sue us because he got blinded by all the flash photography. no wonder his eyes are orange.

2. that was the best review(s) i've ever seen. cstrike for xbox seems like it will have slower gameplay though, with all the confusing controls.

3. Does HL2 use a unique engine or does it use something like the quake 3 engine?

Anywho i got answers, Cs for xbox will probly not suffer slower gameplay as youl'll probly get used to the controls in about a minute anyways and some speed up things are included in the game (ex no wait time after jumping, Woot bhopping time)

Your second question's answer is that Hl2 will use its own custom fancy unique HL2 engine (Why do you think it took so long to make the game?) that has many unique features.

Why does everybody flame CSX? I'm sure most of you have never held an XBOX controller before in your life.



Advantages

1)Hackers are virtually eliminated in theory (Modified consoles are instantly banned from the network, and you may receive a 'hello' from the authorities)



2)NO 56k users



3)Single player feature



4)If it is released before CS:CZ, who guess who gets to try the guns first



5)An older more 'mature' audience tends to play on XBL (Children do not have the no how/money to set up router, etc...)



6)VaLVE 'approved' mods,maps,etc... to be available for download over XBL system



7)Better looking updated models, etc...



8)Bunnyhopping, well this could be classified as both..depending how you like it.



Disadvantages

1)No keyboard/mouse combination (If you can get used to a mouse/keyboard, you can get used to a controller. People who play Console games prefer controllers over mouse/keyboards)



2)More arcade type of game style as rizzuh said, and the screen-shots show...(omg cs is like real terrorism in action on PC...) I guess this could also be classified as both, depending if u like arcade or not



Summary to my novel

Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to rush to the store the first day and buy this game, and I am a bit curious because, and I think most everyone will agree with me, the UT2K3 port to XBOX was complete garbage, looked like garbage, and had terrible gameplay compared to the PC version, I just hope that they do a better job with CSX that UC. So for the game looks/sounds promising, we'll just have to wait until it is released to see if it delivers. Although most of you will cry about this game like you will cry about CS 1.6, I guess thats just the way it is, please refrain from flaming the game before you actually try it...I see people complaining about auto-aim how it aims for the head, well, guess what, CS for PC has that option as well which you can enable/disable, no big deal. I believe that they could make some cool features because of the large hard drive XBOX has in it to store files, etc...Does anybody know if it will have a demo recording feature?

I don't. I've played console games since the Intelivision, and I'll take a keyboard and mouse over a controller, especially for FPS. Platform games, adventure games, these all can play real well with a controller, even Metroid Prime played well with a controller. But with regular FPS games I feel like I'm fighting the controller more often than playing the game.

BTW, CSX and CS:CZ are looking great...

I remember when I went crazy when Gearbox handed over their CZ project to Ritual when I thought their work was the best that CZ could get... I TAKE IT BACK! Ritual is putting that old HL engine to its limits!

Is CS:CZ going to be running on Steam??? I prefer it running on Steam than the original HL interface or whatever you call it. I prefer it this way for good reason, I don't know the exact problem, but there are random crashes which occur when I run my CS (CS 1.5). This never occurs when running CS on Steam... (CS 1.6 BETA)

I have 1.6 gHz Intel 4, Win XP Home, ATI Radeon 9700 Pro, and 512 mb of RAM...

Is it because my vid card wasn't meant for this game???
