Well I'm assuming there will be cheat codes for Half-Life 2 just like there were in Half-Life 1... How can you ask that man???

i mean in the multiplayer, no one has asked any of the valve people at all and valve hasn't brought it up. I figured a good selling point for the engine would be that it was built from the ground up with anti cheat technology to stop hackers.

...I was being sarcastic... However since "The Source" is built from the ground up, you would assume that it presents it's own set of problems for hackers.

I wonder what potential mods that could be created from source. I always invisioned some sort of ball game with the gav gun of which opposing teams would match off and try to get the ball in the net. With source I believe this is possible.

Most likely. Because people want an easy way out. People will find away around the code, cheat, anti cheat will stop it. Cheat, Anti Cheat, Repeat. That's how it works.

Watching TechTVi today about XBox Mod Chips, there are plently and I saw 1 in particular the Xctioner 2 I think and it was made especialy for the use of diffrent OS (hich they showed how to do) and keyboard and mouse. I believe since it was totaly modded that you could use k&m ingame, and I'm assuming online too.

if you try to go on xbox live with a mod chip you'll be perma banned.

I've read you can turn you're mod chip on and off, enabling you to use XBox Live. Not sure if that's true or not, I'll see if I can find an article if anyone cares.
