omg. AND aztec looks so pretty now, it was raining, but the bots were stupid.

the bots were pretty cool, aiming for the neck area without getting 100% HS's, even at their highest level. I spoke with the guy who was in charge of the CZ booth thingy at E3, and he said that the bots will not shoot thru walls or crates now, but that may be an option in the future (so you could practice playing in a pub). Neat.



But them bots are still bots. Example? On aztec, while a ct was hiding behind the white blocks in the corner above the ramp, a t came up the ramp, exchanged some fire with the ct (both lived) and the t then planted the bomb. That's when the ct came out and killed him. Stuff like that. Yeah.



But they listen to radio commands (just dont talk shit like some of them other bots).

CZ is dead as for as I am concerned. I appreciated it last year, but with HL:2 so close one begs to ask the question: Is it worth it to buy a game that you KNOW will out-dated VERY soon? If you preordered it, fine. But people usaully get the hottest thing out with the best stuff and the innovations. And CZ has been promising that for so long it is no longer true with HL:2 in step.

Tell you what. Lift up your stone and get back under it your chatting crap! Whats the point in reading a CS site and everything you post is about how bad CS now is.



Counterstrike will be changing with the reease of 1.6. Riot Shield, Galil, Famas and are different weapons obviously and change the way people play the maps. Once they release CS:CZ the game will change again. Get a life and sod off elsewhere.

And guess what? CZ is updating that old one, the one thats like 5 years old, when a new engine is coming in Sept.

There's still a few months between CZ and HL2. Are you suggesting that there should be no games released during that time? Even then CZ and HL2 are different games - just because we can have one doesn't mean we don't need the other.

PC Zone UK is saying they will have a review of CS:CZ next month. It's in quite big letters too, I suspect if it's not next month it will be the following one for sure.

Right on. :) Granted, I'm still trying to figure out if I'm going to be able to make rent for the next few months or move into a smaller place, so it'll be a while before I'll get my hands on this regardless. :-\

Did you not notice the "bots will be included with CS" hype not long ago? Yes, you're getting bots to play with in CS. Granted, they're not likely to be quite as advanced as CS:CZ bots, they'll lack the scripted sequences, and in general won't have the cool singler-player experience that CS:CZ may provide. They look to be better than POD-bots, though, which pleases me. :)

Possible good ideas in bold for emphesis, crappy ones left in the normal font. :) Man... I remember buying an issue of CGW just for that cover article back when it was first announced... seems like forever ago in some ways, and very recent in others.

It's funny how there was loads of magazine articles about CZ when it was being done by Gearbox and the bots were meant to be some of the most impressive bots ever,you couldn't tell the different between cpu and human players.Now the bots are 'average'.
