Cheating-Death 2.11.0 Released

Cheating-Death has been updated to version 2.11.0. What's new, you ask? A handful of bugs have been fixed and several new cheats are now detected. More importanty, this version will not allow you to connect to servers if VAC is running, as opposed to the old way of kicking you out of Half-Life. Looking for a VAC alternative? • [changed] automatic autoupdate to start five seconds after starting to fix server browser launcher problems. (if game is running autoupdate doesn't start.)

I have to say, i was kicked from a server with VAC for using CD. As i didnt know, and im a complete and total idiot, i was banned from most secure servers for trying to reconnect. Why it was a partial perma ban ill never know. Damn you valve.



But personally since VAC is so picky, they should lift permanent bans on people when they next update.



And i prolly dont know what im talking about. Glad they fixed that though

CD is great at cheat detection, but its so bloody annoying to have it running for servers an stuff. It puts ppl off joining servers.

cd pisses me off because whenever im trying to find a server to play 1 vs 1 with frends...i almost always end up with a cheating death server

the only reason people are put off is cuz they cheat :rollseyes:

no they put off it because 90% of servers dont run it + it requires a seperate download + it wont work on VAC servers. There isn't enough cheating in CS right now to warrant CD really. It's not like 1.3 days where it was pretty much impossible to find a cheat free pub.

CD is great and all... I have a similar problem like Macer. For some reason I can't connect to any secure servers, apparently according to Valve I "cheated in the past." And I won't be able to connect to any secure servers until sometime November. Anyone know why this happened?

my friend was kicked from CS and secure servers till november, thats cause he hacked though.

the page iof updated cd cheats perhaps will deter u from bothering.... Thers even steam 1,6 cheats its so depressing...

My only problem with those different anti cheat solutions is that in many cases I don't know which one is required by the server until I joined the game. It would be great if all those anti cheat people got together and produced a unified solution. But I guess I should just close my eyes and dream on...
