BULL CRAP. I have never heard of such crap before. That's close to a terrabyte of transfer, and they are charging less then $100 a month. ;\ GG.
That's about 13.3 times larger than my hard drive. That's amazingly cheap. There has to be a catch.

Actually, if I was going to do that, I'd buy one of those Mac RAID thingys, because after a couple years it'd be much more cost efficient.

By the way, way to go Meylokk.

I got my clan website, www.crewdomain.com, for free by a friend :)

I'm not even paying sand to him, all I have to do is keep him in the clan.

So you're telling me that you can outperform rackshack, a profitable, and trusted company with 800gigs of bandwidth for less then $100? Yet established, and highly professional companies who share/own datacentres can only afford to offer 400gigs for $199? Ok there.

I don't really get it.. why do u need to go to the websites stated above for a clan site? Can't you just make it or something? Just get some free web space, and a .tk domain.. Besides, clans are so lame..

I can only outpreform them in the fact I make less profit. They are established so they find it unnecessary to sell something for less than it can be sold.

Hmm... the most I've ever transferred over my computer in a month was a bit over 350 gigs, but that was on a 10mbps connection to a T3 line. Regardless, considering that a T3 (assuming full capacity) can deliver about 13.5 terrabytes of info in a month, I suppose it's possible. I'm guessing, though, that it's expected that nobody's going to be using that full bandwidth.

What I really don't get is how you could have 800gigs of storage. That's more hard drives than I care to think about, especially when you multiply that across many clients. Is there some sort of tape-backup catch going on here?

If it's legit, it's a sweet offer, for sure.
