CS:CZ Release Date

HL2 probably will not be delayed, because they pretty much have everything done. They are just going through all of the maps, making sure nothing is wrong with them. Play-testing all of the maps and gameplay is definitely going to take until August with the game being two times longer than the original Half-Life - AND they have to go through every crook and crannie of each map. Then the game is pretty much done - and they'll release it on time.



It was pretty apparent from the E3 demo a lot of the game is finished. I will be surprise if it doesn't come out September.

Also, why would you rather buy HL2 than CS:CZ. They are completly different...HL2 is aliens and scientists...CS:CZ is counter-terrorism, even though CS is a mod from the HL engine, they are 100% different.

Because, first of all, the CS:CZ will be based on HL Engine, which is getting old, and graphisms won't be what people will want anymore, with the upcoming releases of doom 3 and hl2. Also, I don't have that much money to put on games since it's not one of my priority in life, so I'm not gonna buy every game, I have to choose, and it happens that Half-Life 2 will be a much better choice since it will be an amazing game. More than that, I will be able to download mods for it, which will be other games with amazing graphisms.
