Point being, everyone speculates different release dates. Just wait for it to appear when it wants to.

this date is being thrown around so much. we hear summer then fall then next month then 3rd quarter...and every site has a different date posted. im just gonna wait until ritual gives us a date (again)

Am I crazy or didn't Ritual themselves say that it would be out at the end of April or May? And didn't they say in the post something like "Really."



I mean come on, is anyone really waiting for this game anymore? Give me a break! Too little, too late.

i don't think i will be buying cs-cz definatly i will be buying hl2 and MOST DEFINATLY DOOM III i just think they have waited waaaay too long and with all the other games comin out it will just get set aside for the other games like DOOM III w00t

So working with a 5 year old engine, on a game that has practically already got 100% of the design/layout/look completed (thanks to online CS)....



.....and it still takes them nearly 2 years to complete. This game was first properly announced back in September 2001, was practically gone gold when Valve shelved their version, we were informed that the Ritual version was ready to ship as of a week ago.



Valve/Ritual/<insert game company here> had all the hard work of the game done for them, yet it's still delay after delay. Very disappointed...

Well ritual are the ones who know and they are saying June, although they did say May last week.



Anyway seems pretty close. This release date looks complete rubbish, it also doesn't make any sense with regard to the HL2 release date.



I wonder if it's Valve holding back CZ because 1.6 isn't ready or is it Ritual holding Valve back? I know what I'd put my money on.

Who gives a f*ck about CS:CZ? Seriously, HL2 and Doom3 are going to overpower it. CS:CZ looks so damn cartoony, it's just dumb. The main reason why I play CS is because its online with other people. CS single player just sounds lame, I hate bots, instead of the super smart ones in HL2 . Anyways, I could care less when it gets released.

Anyways if it is delayed, it seems like all gaming companies do this, yet I have no clue why, I would rather them go 'look we made this game called CS:CZ here it is' rather than sit around for 3 years waiting for it to be outdated etc...I can understand them wanting to make a 'hype' about it...but after a while, enough is enough. I remember I was going to buy this game AUGUST 2002.



Also, why would you rather buy HL2 than CS:CZ. They are completly different...HL2 is aliens and scientists...CS:CZ is counter-terrorism, even though CS is a mod from the HL engine, they are 100% different. Of course you all probably assume CS2 will come out on the HL2 platform, but who says HL2 isnt delayed just liek CS:CZ, and how long will it take for CS2 to be made?



So, Even if it does come out in September, who says HL2 wont come out 2004 or even CS2 2005...
