Counter-Mole Update

Last night, Counter-Mole (by Counter-Hack) had a decent amount of Spectators that eagerly watched 10 people play on a server. All the spectators kept thinking everyone cheated, which was pretty funny.



The entire event was concluded within five hours, which was run by only one person. Counter-Mole would like to congratulate H3X from the Counter-Hack Website for running this event (I would like to conclude, by HIMSELF.. eh-em).



The players were as follows in case you are wondering.

The Mole was Player3, which isn't really a surprise since Joolz is a well known cheat.



Server Settings were basic CAL match settings, and maps played were - de_aztec, de_dust, cs_assault, de_dust2, cs_milita, de_prodigy, cs_italy.

Hmm not that many people will bother to read that log, theres some info in there which I thijnk cast aspersions on the entire 'competition value' of the show

Whether this is true or just banter in irc, the fact remains that the sad state of affairs is everyone of these players can disguise their hacking sufficiently, to fool a panel of ten admin, That at the end of hte day we really can never know. I wonder how many of thee leet players can disguise their hacking in say, CAL play....

All proprs to the organiser, n i find the idea pretty adictive, I reckon a lot of people will try and watch it to make up their own minds.

I just hope he finds a mature level of players to participate, who dont fake out having hacks etc..Thats childish, and conversely muddying the waters by hacking when not supposed to, just shows the charachter of idiots who hack.

And Actually -- There was only 1 cheater (if you dont include Andaris who got voted out in the first round anyway).



All the players Including me - were all paranoid, we thought everyone else was cheating.

I am a5|cman (Player 8) and what andaris said is completely wrong. I don't know why he said that Ghengis/Dangermouse but he is very wrong. Andaris was cheating himself, granted, but no one else was, and WWCL was on the server so config hacking or alias blocking didn't work.
