Anyways, I tried the beta yesterday and I must say that it's pretty nice. I played only bots, until I noticed regular players showing up too on my server.



Those bots are really good, way better than anything else I have seen. One annoying thing that happened once though was when one bot was left in my team alone, he started planting the bomb when another bot started shooting at him. Did the shooting stop him from trying to plant the bomb? Nope...he just continued planting it and finally got his ass kicked, even though the enemy bot missed alot. Yeahwell, it's just beta and it only happened once so it shouldn't be much of a problem.



Weather is cool too, didn't slow down my computer much at all, maybe a little...hardly noticable since I'm on pretty good hardware. Should be left optional as it is with the consolecommand right now methinks.



Ohwell...gg valve. Maybe this game will get interesting sometime again.

is cl_weather 2 the max? in other words, i couldn't pretend I was in some really foggy swampland and do cl_weather 25? o_o

it appears havana is the ONLY hostage rescue map that doesn't freeze up CS. Also a few DE maps freeze up as well, such as de_nuke and de_vertigo. and de_survivor lags at 1fps.

'right click on cs in game and check that the properties section has, always keep this game up to date automatically, that may be your problem. If u don't tell it to, it thinks it has updated or rather u will update it, once you have changed it to auto update, turn on the steam monitor,(THE STEAM SHOULD UPDATE BEFORE THE CS!)You will then see your update dribbling through for the next hour or so depending on connection



I have to say this update gets a thumbs up apart from the knife despite its fossilized bits!
