zEx-Titus wrote..ahah sublyme just got owned--online superstar style
Wow. Sublyme you're not fooling anyone. Everyone in the cs community knows what the saying "online superstars" means. It's funny how every time I happen to check this site and I see something written about zEx it's negative. "News sites" aren't supposed to be bias. Opinions are for the comment section, not for "news" articles. I wouldn't mind it if you actually had knowledge of the CS scene and what you are writing about. However, you have never seen anyone in zEx play on lan or any other CALi clans for that matter. Go write about something you know about please.

Why am I being attacked for stating the truth? I'm not calling zEx cheaters or anything of the sort; it seems people take offense too easily. I'm merely stating they're extremely strong online and not top of their game on lan. Get over it.
I'd also like to say I haven't been doing too much reporting lately, but whenever I do it's always fact; this site is a hell of a lot more professional than the majority of eSports "sites" you'll find out there. I find it funny people spaz out when I use a term that to them is deragatory, but to me states simply that their track record is much better online. No accusations of hacks and no accusations of cheating, and yet I'm still flamed. Whatever.
Titus, I haven't flamed your clan and I haven't spoken ill of it in anyway. I'm sorry if you misinterpreted that. I'm also sorry you're offended by what an esports reporter said. There's hundreds more where I come from, so I think you should just suck it up and move on with life, because there will always be shit talkers and naysayers.
Finally, I'd like to wish you good luck in the rest of the CAL-i playoffs. Why? Because I think zEx is strongly skilled and has a good shot at taking it all. That, and I wasn't speaking ill of you in the first place.syclone wrote..
My name is sublyme, and yes, i was leader of ni and we didn't make cal-im playoffs. we also didnt talk shit. We also lost our starting roster and leader when i broke my arm towards the end of the cal-im season, sending us on a 3 game losing streak. Great memory you have there.
and btw, sublime, were you sublyme from ni. ? the one that talked shit and then didn't even make cal-im playoffs?Comment

Well, maybe you should learn the connotations of "online superstar" before throwing it around as such.
"this site is a hell of a lot more professional than the majority of eSports "sites" you'll find out there"... I'm sorry, but that's BS. Have you ever been ShackES/Shacknews, or SoGamed? I'd say your in a three way tie for third with DomainofGames (who would be higher up if they didn't let some idiots in to post), UKTerrorist (who no one cares about :x) and yourself. Your "eSports" coverage is far inferior to the coverage of those sites. Learn the difference between "eSports" and "dewd theirs this new model and map pack out and man is it l33t dude omgfgggfG" news.
And I am pretty sure I recalled you or your clan saying some stuff on the CAL board you probably would of taken back at the end of that season, broken arm or not. It happens to people, get over it. ... [ EDIT: NEVER MIND ]Comment

CAL-i Playoffs
The first round of CAL-i plays begins tonight. Live coverage as always is at gotFrag. HLTV should be available at the newly launched GDTV site. No CSN coverage tonight. The matches, while meaning a lot, consist of the lower rung teams (standard "in my opinion" disclaimer here).Comment

CAL-i Playoffs
Be sure to use tonight's HLTV servers to the supermax! Subtract two hours for PST, add one for EST. One match is over but you can still (as of 6:20 PST) catch the 3D one and all the ones after it.
UPDATE BY SUBLYME: Here are tonight's results -
3D -over- aoX :: 15-9
WEW -over- DoP :: 17-7
RIVAL -over- NEG :: 18-6 (NEG left when RIVAL had 13 needed rounds)
zEx -over- riotsquad :: 21-3 (rs left when zEx had 13 needed rounds)
This places, if I'm correct, 3D vs RIVAL and WEW vs zEx for the CAL-invite semi-finals. zEx, while online superstars, have lost pretty hard to WEW on lan in the past, and 3D has beaten RIVAL handily as well, so it's quite possible that this may be WEW's real season to shine. Of course, zEx is still the powerhouse they will be, so it's anyones game at this point.Comment
