Element, easily one of the best players in the world, has joined Schroet Kommando Sweden (SK.swe), easily one of the best clans in the world. Under the leadership of bds, SK.swe has had its ups and downs but they certainly look prepared to make a splash at the Summer CPL Event starting July 30th. Element leaves GoL, the Scandinavian team that he helped unsuccessfully challenge 3D in the CPL World Championship 2002 finals last Winter.
An interesting tidbit here is that bds has announced plans to use Element as a sixth player rather than replacing one of the starters or using Element as a reserve. The plan being that if someone is weak with a particular map or is doing bad during a specific week, they'll have an equally prepared player ready to step up. In other words, there are just six players with equal footing who will be played based on their set of skills. Element, like all other SK.swe players, has been contracted to play until the end of 2003.
Element currently lives in Norway and will be SK.swe's (SK.sca?) only player outside of Sweden. When Element wants to join your team you let him in--local or not--with the old C, P, L in mind.
