This right-wing nutcase placed second in the running to run for president, ahead of the Socialist Prime Minister but behind Jacques Chiraq (sic), the current President. Anyway he's expected to lose to Chiraq by a landslide anyhow, but still the guy's a real asshole. At least that's what I think is happening.

New Skin Pack

French CS site CS-Bazar have put together a new skin pack entitled 'Alpha_02'. Some decent skins are included and particularly nice player models. It's all in French, but there are plenty of pictures which, of course, tell a thousand words. Go check it.

No one in the right mind will download such ulgy skins. All the guns in the pack are either not real, or contain too many addons. On top of that, the models and skins are poorly done, making the models even more pathetic. I like the C4 model but that's about it.

Wait... you're kidding, right? You must be.

I don't think I can even comment on all the problems in this pack... but I'll try. Firstly, you guys do know that not every gun in the world has a scope, right? The vast majority of those skins are absolutely hideous. Try picking skins that don't look like a block of badly textured polygons, with about 5 scopes and sights on them (Scopes and sights on guns that should not have them do not look good! They just look fucking retarded. Especially when you have BOTH on one gun). Try using skins that are at least somewhat similar to the original guns. Pick skins that don't look like you pulled them out of your ass. Vin Diesal and XXX suck. Horribly.



I swear to god, I'm at a loss for words here. Whoever created his pack, just let me say this: You, Sir, have quite possibly the worst taste in custom models ever. My grandmother could pick better skins. Half of those replacements look like that came from Doom 2. The people who made those skins, or at least most of them, deserve to have their entire computer erased, and any new computers they buy explode during the first boot up. The same should apply for whoever created this pack. Maybe this would spare us all from the horror the "XXX Pack" has unleashed on the world.



I swear to god... sometimes I think I should just compile my own model pack... I just need a place to host it.
