    CSBot v0.38b Released

The UnitedAdmins have released v0.38 of their recently aquired CSBot. If you're a little confused, CSBot is a server management utility that can publish server information in IRC and also keeps its own WONID database. The new version contains various fixes and adds a handful of new features. For more information, you can view the UA site, or click here to go directly to the download page.[break="click here for changelog"]
    • fixed incorrect title on the irc connection commands dialog

    • added checkbox to enable / disable the ident server for each irc server profile

    • default irc interface permissions are help and login (used to be none)

    • several fixes for compiling in vs.net with mfc 7

    • added automatic reconnection to game server

    • console views now use guy h's outputwnd control. this is a lot friendlier to the user than a big editbox

    • removed dead say, and dead say_team from ns parser

    • fixed a bug in banning players from the player list

    • added confirmation messages when deleting server profiles

    • color codes will not be sent to +c channels anymore

    • added -guess and -guessharder command line options

    • changed default cs colors for irc to look better on white background

    • fixed several inter-thread problems

    • fixed wrong help for login command in irc interface

    • added the quick setup guide to the package

Pretty good, though personally I don't like having a fixed reflection on the ACOG lens (it looks weird to say the least, having a reflection of de_dust when you're playing on say, cs_office), but it's a nice thought anyway and for what it is, it's well done. Also, while I thought it looked a bit dark in HLMV, after giving this a quick run in CS it in fact came over as a bit light for my tastes.

Can't say I have much love for the origins or animations either.

Overall about as good as they come, though I've seen a few models better.

The unscoped version is a very solid contender for my M4A1 spot.

...give me the Acog version as an Aug, and there'd be no contest.

If I had to complain, I'd say I like my silencers on the large side, but honestly, it looks beautiful just as it is. A must-try for any who are into custom skins.

no way is this initial model/skin "a couple years" old..... not even 1 i'm pretty sure.

i must say good package thrown together. there's something about the scope's skin that has always bothered me though.

This pretty much ranks in my top 3 replacements for the m4. I'll echo what Bokuho said about the fixed reflection, but it's not too big of a deal for me.
