Do like the way they are handling hardware false positives. Puts a little safty cushion there

there are approximately 13 working cheats right now. i can name 11 people that have quit in the past 2 weeks b/c of cheats. i can't even scrim w/out being hacked to death. i don't know how many others have quit that are associated with the 11 , but i do know that i'm next to leave the game..............my team and 3 others that i know as well. the cheating is rampant and pathetic. VALVe, please fix these issues.....competitive play isn't worth it right now and many of us love the game, but only on a level field.

unfortunately, I was recently banned for using hlIRC, an IRC script which allows players to chat in irc while running half-life. VAC detected this as an "illegal cheat" and added me to the master ban list. woohooo.

openGL hacks are hard to detect, cause they aren't doing anything with HL.

No, this situation is a lot better than how was cheaters in v1.1 or 1.3. Now they can't crash your server, can't use the best' cheats etc.

No, its almost as bad as it was in 1.3... It's easy to find public cheats again that do everything for you. Almost every scrimm I do there is a cheater in it. And I'm not just a person that calls everyone cheaters.
