PHXX: They rock!

You may have read our little contest fiasco where another advertiser bailed on CS-Nation, leaving a community member out of a server that he won fair and square. Luckily, Phoenix Connexxion (or PHXX), stepped up to help. PHXX does a lot for the community (and this site). For example, they're currently mirroring the skin of the day and will mirror Counter-Strike 1.6/HL updates for CS-Nationalists.

How come these servers list as Canadian on HLSW? (Y'know with the little maple leaf flag 'n everything), doesn't matter tho as I got a ping of 25 on them this morning, so ^^ gg PHXX

Wasn't it Game Extreme?, but seeing as the're a bunch of fu*k trumpets, they will never be refered to on this site again.

Yes, game extreme pulled out, and it was my clan member that won. Rizzuh almost had to pay for our server out of his own pocket, but PHXX stepped up. I've got to say I love it (we had Recon Gaymer before). I ping about 80 on the virginia server from Toronto, but it never times out or lag spikes in the past 2 weeks we've had it. Their NYC servers are full right now, so we couldn't get it from there, which would drop my ping to about 40.



The control panel on the website is great too, and allows any n00b to add maps, change configs, and all the stuff you need to run a server. It also comes with about every config you'll need if your in a league, except for the new CAL cheat protection.
