Agreed concerning the slandering. Very unprofessional, and I'm disappointed in myself for not continuing my past eSports coverage. It's unfortunate I fell to the real-life problems of girls and...well, real life, and thus I've been ultra slacking. Look for me to do esports coverage this upcoming season, provided I start allotting myself some damn time.
Does this mean you no longer haev a real life/gf? Must be, Were not all kids hre you know! I manage to have a gf AND play cs loads. However I silly teasing flame aside, Sinac is just a kid isnt he, so we should cut him some slack, and I agree with an earlier comment, that some editorial licence MUST ensue, commentary is what livens this up for me,. (Do they have commentary on HLTV?) If they really wanted to make these competitions fair, they shoud be three round matches, knife pistol and all weapons. Get it done in short sharp bursts, Live or die simple...

Anyhoo, re my editorial licence comment, isnt rze ultimately responsible ofr everything on his site???? So its the stocks for him, three lashes of the birch and no candy for two whole hours!!

In fact everyone must eat candy infront of his fat ass, while he isnt allowed to. Haha!

indeed. the only "safe" thing to do would be to just give us the scores and let us make our own minds up. but thats not why people read a site like this. i think it was obvious that sinac was just stating his opinion, which is what the whole basis of proper coverage is. we want to hear all the little rumours that fly around :)

Sublyme, if you've been around the community for as long as you say, and you've played with as many people as you say you have, you saying you didn't know about/use the negative connotations of "online superstar" are.. well, simply stated, BULLSHIT.

I knew about the negative conotations, but last I checked the term "online superstar" wasn't defined in webster's dictionary as "one who cheats/hacks online and performs poorly on lan". I'd be surprised is such a lazy term was defined in any dictionary, to be honest. In short, I'm telling you that I have free license to use any terms any way I like, and unfortunately you can misinterpret all you like, but I don't happen to be one of those community kids who flame and shoots off his mouth without knowing what he's talking about.

If I'm not filling any gaps for you here, kindly just shut your mouth and find a new person to bitch at, because apparently I'm the guy who shittalked about his team and didn't make the playoffs, and apparently I also have zero knowledge of eSports. Apparently, this community is your breeding ground and you love to try and make everyone adhere to a standard, and if they don't then they're obviously a newb or they are nothing more than a simpleton.

Sorry if I went off on a tangent anywhere here, but you sir are an idiot. Good day.

You called him sir when it's clear you don't like him.

                Nice, I love it.

Edit: America will probably still lose CPL.

Wow, where the hell have you been, Mr. eSports? Anyone who has paid attention to what goes on in the community knows what is attached to someone who calls someone an "online superstar." Go on IRC and call any high-level clans "online superstars" and see how much you get flamed.
In short, I'm telling you that I have free license to use any terms any way I like, and unfortunately you can misinterpret all you like, but I don't happen to be one of those community kids who flame and shoots off his mouth without knowing what he's talking about.
I'll agree with the fact that the majority of the time you do speak coherently, but it's just one of the most annoying things in the world to talk about someone with this attached connotation. How about I call you a "retard" for instance, and just say, "Oh, well I haven't seen your grades, so as what I know, you haven't preformed well in school, so you MUST be mentally challenged"? [Speaking hypothetically, don't take offense, just see what I'm talking about.]
If I'm not filling any gaps for you here, kindly just shut your mouth and find a new person to bitch at, because apparently I'm the guy who shittalked about his team and didn't make the playoffs, and apparently I also have zero knowledge of eSports.
You didn't shit talk about my team (I left after the first match due to schedule conflicts within my team) and I didn't say you had zero knowledge of eSports, I just think you are putting too many people down without the chance to defend themselves. zEx lost to WEW online and on LAN, as well as other teams. The other Forsaken lineup would of been probably as close of a match as some of their matches against team like sf/aoX/[rs] were. They played [rs] in OT TWICE during the CAL season, and didn't F^ beat [rs] at TANGO? Also, I'd be damned if they could beat a team as strong as mTw online, as well. And I don't remember them thrashing the old TSO online anytime recently, but yet, they lost to them on lan by what? TWO POINTS? Almost forcing the match into overtime? Hmm? And TSO was supposed to be a LAN/Teamwork powerhouse? Please correct me if you were allowed to bring your CFGS to CPL...(</sarcasm>)
Apparently, this community is your breeding ground and you love to try and make everyone adhere to a standard, and if they don't then they're obviously a newb or they are nothing more than a simpleton.
A standard of not talking shit to people that in all reality, you can't back up? As I said before, if you can take down zEx on LAN, then you'll get respect. If you lose to zEx on LAN, and you talked shit about them being "online superstars", that really gains my respect. No, really.
Sorry if I went off on a tangent anywhere here, but you sir are an idiot. Good day.
                  K. Have a nice day yourself.

Why do you keep going on about it? If he meant to add the negativity to the comment, he would have said so when he was confronted about it. He has said this before, and it can't be stated more simply.. but he was simply saying they are a great team online, though not as strong on LAN. I don't really agree but his opinion is his opinion. Even if he thought they were hackers, is it not his opinion? And considering that what he posted was his own news/article, does he not have the right to say what he wants?

Nobody's story has changed, and you're still not right.

GL to zEx at the CPL Winter. I don't think 3D will be much help against the top European clans, so I'm thinking the top U.S. teams will be zEx, Rival, TAU and WEW. I still want SK to win though. :)

It is his opinion. Someof which he has are bad, some of which are good. However, my opinion conflicts with his opinion, and since this is a news site, not a opinionated essay site, I think I have the right to point out where I believe he is wrong. As I said, he has his valid points, and I have mine.

Obviously you guys need to go on IRC and talk it over, but this site is not the place for arguing. A famous quote:

"Winning an argument on the CS Nation forums is like winning the Special Olympics; You're STILL a retard!"

I'm just stating that zEx are maybe not as proven on LAN as they do as other teams, so calling them a team of "online superstars" is not what they deserve. Revenge and shaGuar are PROVEN lan players, and the team that played at Winter CPL did about as good as you'd expect them to do online. You have to be kidding if you expected for mTw to lose to zEx online, as well as TSO, who had their huge undefeated streak at that point, to lose to zEx. I think alot of this stemmed from Dreadassault, who never got the option to play on LAN at CPL with zEx, but was a "online superstar", not zEx as a team.

The point is, you CANNOT CHANGE THE DEFINITION OF A WORD. You cannot just one day decide a word has another meaning then what it is understood as.
