1.5 has alot of cheaters. It hasn't grown to the proportion 1.3 did at it's peak but 1.3 also took time to reach that level.

It's ashame, that most people think there are many cheaters playing CS.



The fact is most cheaters just hide them.



LAN is the only way i play CS theses days, it's great and never a cheater :)

Just demod n reported a cheater on my reg azzie server. Thing is these freaks, get an endless supply of wonids, perhaps the security sytems, need to be changed, rather than te cheat detectyions...

True, 1.3 was out a very long time before an update. Im not sure how long 1.5 will be out before its updating, but hey guys, at least Valve are doing what few games developers are doing. Give them credit. Even though some cheats might still work, others wont.

That's what the cheaters like you to think. It's a myth, most of them just have the ones they've been able to get off friends, generation packs, LAN center's etc. Only the hard core cheaters will have made CD Key Stealers. Hopefully most of them will eventually run out of CD Keys.

one of the popular new cheats is called "Prediction" and is VAC proof. it makes the user look like a bot in first person: they move/look around in a jerky fashion. if you can get close enough to the cheater they can be easily taken out. another cheat i have seen on my server is some kind of rapid fire pistol script: you see guys empty the USP in under 2 sec. having admins on your server is the only defense against the continuing threat. has anyone else seen/ heard of these cheats?

sounds like someone with an aimbot and speed hack, i bet they are just a ogc type cheat with all that in one.



right now if i was gonna play online i'll use a CD server cuz they just updated and they seem to stop every cheat on the updates. So if you want to play and know the server is cheat free, go play on a CD server for a day or 2.
