CSN Forums Test

The CS-Nation Forums have launched!



Oh, you probably noticed that little logo that comes up often. It means that the CS-Nation Forums will temporarily be CS-Nationalist only while we iron out all the bugs and finalize the design. Your current CS-Nation user accounts will work fine on the forums. This is a very important point to me since it allows our 150,000 members to easily post on the forums, customize their news, post comments, etc. with a single free account.



But for now, the forums are private. Yeah, yeah, another move toward us becoming IGamespoteNalpelif but there is actually real reason behind this. The forums are using a heavily modified version of vBulletin. Most modifications are in the actual code and not the templates; since I suck at coding I have probably made dozens of mistakes already. The CS-Nationalist test will help fix all those bugs so that when the forums launch soon for the general public, everything will be nice and clean. So check out the forums and/or upgrade today !

CSN Forums Test

The CS-Nation Forums are now open to the public for a testing phase! The forums were previously available for CS-Nationalists only. We are now extending testing to our user base of over 210,000 registered members. That's right, your normal CS-Nation membership will work on our forums as well.



CS-Nationalists have access to special features, including the ability to post polls along any threads and the ability to attach images and files to posts.



Now, go get posting!

Looking nice (from the pics), shame that vB 3.0 already has a public beta out there and the RC is coming along shortly... But if you're sticking with vB2.3 all the same at least you have some kick ass looking forums :)

Nicely done! I'm going to wager it was rather difficult to integrate the existing csnation stuff (avatars, whatnot) into the forums.

As I explained it's only for testing. If there are no big bugs found within the next few days, we'll open the forums to the general public soon. Believe me, I want to see this baby get traffic!
