CPL Keeps CS

The Cyberathlete Professional League yesterday announced its plans for the Winter event scheduled for December 16-20 of this year. The event will once again be held in Dallas and the main tournament will once again be Counter-Strike. The purse is $100,000. Gearbox's unreleased Halo for PC will have its own $30,000 team tournament, and Warcraft 3 will have a $20,000 one-on-one tournament.



Registration will open this August.

I'm sure it wont be "unreleased" in december. It seems very likely it'll be out before or around HL2.
