I needed an excuse to uprgrade my membership, it seems to be taking ages to update though. (I right clicked on CS under games then updated it) How long should I expect on a broadband connection?

ok, I got into 1.6 realised i needed to increase my resolution and change my handle, so I left the game, fiddle with my settings, tried to go into a server then found out I've been banned from all servers, due to "previous cheating violations" - I have never cheated, any1 know what could be the problem?

Hey riz do me a favour and try to find some Donation service (like PayPal or that Amazon Honor thing) which accepts Maestro cards. Maestro (lil bro' of MasterCard) allows international payments, but neither PayPal nor Amazon.com accept them (Amazon.de does, however). It sucks that I can't upgrade. :)

clarification requested please: steam2 is a seperate program from steam1 not an upgrade/update? should you un-install steam1 or just install steam2 on top of it? and is steam1 still "functional"? i can't decide to whether to wait for official CS 1.6 or upgrade the server now into a beta 1.6 server.
