wewt I'm unbanned .... VAC does record the bans, but most of the recent ones ban you till 2008...

bah VAC always has problems. my m8 got banned still 2008 after trying for 10 mins to join a server....... bloody valve do nothing right...

i reconise the name Pharlap. Im sure he was one of the lead programmers of OGC dunno if he still is.....

I hate to say it but I think we'd be better off playing default, because cheats could easily pretend to be certain add-ons if they're caught hooking in the same way.

YAY, I'm unbanned too. I'm all for banning cheaters who ruin the game, but banning innocent people is just ridiculous. One things for sure though, if valve ever decides to becoming a condom maker I would stay as far away as possible seeing as how they don't test their products well.

i got banned cuz of the last round of false positives ... it sucked

and for vac i think the first ban should be for 30 seconds then if another positive comes up within a day then is 15 mins then another within a week its 1 hr then its 10 hrs then a day then a week then a month etc the "reset time" increasing with each penalty .... hopefully that should be enough for someone running HLamp to figure out what the problem is ..

if you use an algorithm instead of a list to determine ban times that means a really determined cheater could be banned by vac untill ..... cz comes out!

Wow, I was been banned until 2008. And I'm incredibly anti-hacking I can't believe this I wonder if I'm unbanned now though... I should test it.
