You don't get it do you. The sound quality of voice chat is pure crap, so when you say something you better make sure it's clear and comprehendible. When I peak the pit on dust2 I can't slam down on the voice key and say "Hey guys, there is an A-W-Per at long A". That eats up precious time. "OPer at A" - much better.



Also by your argument, shouldn't the AUG be "A-U-G". I bet you voted for Simon

Most of my teammates just say, "Oper at--". That's why I love radar(or in a match you know where they are anyways).

It's the AWP to me not AWM. Just teh way I learned it when I came in. Though I prefer the more fearsome Artic Warfare Preditor.
