Technically I think it's AWM, Arctic Warface Magnum. Where did the P come from and what does it stand for? I still use AWP.



Technically it's pronounced Aye, Double-U, Pee. Do you say Awk when you're trying to tell somebody OK? No. Then why do you say Op? God damn.



I think the guy in Behind Enemy Lines has a gun really similar to the AWP.

See back in the day (that in no way implies I'm old), Gooseman had a typo in his gun namings, where he put artic warfare pistol. Not until v1.0 (??) did this be corrected. But we had all whored the gun so long that we just got used to calling it a.w.p. We're too lazy to change.

I never noticed, Simplex, I've always used binds. The only time I didn't was when I didn't know what I was buying, and that was probably my first 2 weeks of play.
