I think Mugwum shouldn't even have talked about this, I mean the letter had nothing to do with CS, couple that with the fact that he hadn't even worked at Planet Half-Life when Counter-Strike moved, make you think what place he has to even speak about it.. What the hell was his motivation? To stir up trouble?

If it isn't that time of the month! Webmaster cliffe has updated CS.net with a status update on 1.3. 1.3 is taking longer, cliffe reports, because of those nasty hitbox issues. I, for one, can wait it out to see a less buggy release. Also, says cliffe, a couple public map tests will be held soon. Set your phasers to CS.net every couple of hours to get the goods.. Maybe it'll be like the good days with Radium.
Finally, cliffe told us what you good CS-Nation fanboys already know: The CS Crossfire is better than ever!

Cliffe has updated Counter-Strike.net with some brief information about the CPL World Championships in Dallas, which have kicked off.The CPL World Championship has kicked off today and runs until the 9th at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas Texas. The event boasts $150,000 in cash prizes and over 900 competitors. Myself, Barney (Mr Fraggle), Pink from FLF, and a couple Valve and Gearbox guys will be present and it really should be a fun time for everyone. Don't hesitate to stop by if you're in the Dallas or surrounding areas.
There's also no new news about 1.4. But don't take my word for it, read it for yourself!Comment

Counter-Strike.net has been updated by cliffe. Included are two pictures from the CPL Event this past weekend. Here's a tidbit about cheat fixes:The news is that Valve is currently working on a new cheating solution that should prove more effective than current delayed fix in next patch system. Word from Doug Lombardi at Valve is that they will release some information on this in the coming week or two and that they are shooting for a rollout of this solution around the holidays. As always with any software, this is tentative. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
